Students on this Master’s Degree will be expected to learn about the European forest market, understand the ecological role of forest systems, the way they function and their effect on society. In short, they will receive the training required to find employment in companies based across Europe, in the EU’s public administrations and in NGOs. Therefore, the course gives specific training that will enable students to acquire skills in the use of computer programs specific to forest environments, analyse and assess the environmental impact of their professional activities, and to set up and coordinate transnational work groups. Students will also be expected to acquire the ability to work in different cultural contexts and know different languages, as well as to keep abreast of the latest advances made in the technologies related to the field.
